Welcome to Horizon Program 2026-2027!
Good morning,
We are so excited to welcome back our students on July 31! Here are some reminders to make Back to School successful! We are looking forward to supporting your family and making this a great school year!
A few reminders...
Our building opens at 7:45 a.m. each day. Horizon students must remain in the car until our doors are open to ensure supervision, as we share our campus with many other schools where they are not permitted. Dismissal will begin at 2:45 p.m.
No bookbags, purses, or totes are allowed in the building. Students should be prepared with a pen or pencil and leave a binder with paper in each of their four classrooms. Empty or sealed water bottles and plug-in headphones are optional, but encouraged. All personal technology (phones, smart watches, blue tooth headphones, and computers) must remain at home. They will not be permitted in the building, and we do not have the capacity to safely store them.
Please review our updated dress code carefully. Students must be in uniform daily. The uniform consists of khaki or black pants free from holes, tears, and writing, worn at the waist. Tights, leggings, and sweatpants are not allowed. Students may not wear additional layers, such as basketball shorts, etc., under their pants. Shirts must have a collar and be either solid black, white, or gray. Belts are optional, as long as pants fit appropriately at the waist and undergarments are not visible.
Hooded jackets (hoodies) will not be allowed in the building for the 2026-2027 school year. Students may wear a black, white, or gray crew neck sweatshirt or hoodless jacket over their uniform shirt with the collar visible. Students may also wear a spirit wear sweatshirt (hoodless) from their home schools or a long sleeve black, white or gray uniform shirt or t-shirt under their uniform shirt. We ask for your partnership in ensuring your child is dressed appropriately before leaving the house and ask them to leave hooded jackets in the car with you before driving away. Images are provided for clarity.

Again, we are so excited to work with you all this year and look forward to seeing each Horizon Program student grow! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Sincerely,
